About Us
LUNA & VALK GROUP was formed in 1963 with a partnership between Hans Luna & Gerhard Valk, two carpenters who emigrated from Germany.
The company initially contracted in the supply & installation of plasterboard, which at the time was a new product in South Australia.
As things progressed the company was incorporated in 1969. The same year Hans & Gerhard bought an automated plant to produce acoustic ceiling tiles which were successfully sold throughout Australia.
Luna & Valk became very successful as ceiling contractors and manufacturers and were very diverse by the late 1980's and the name changed in 1989 to Luna and Valk Group Pty. Ltd.
1990 saw Hans & Gerhard retire handing over the reins to their sons Gerald & Michael Valk & Hans Luna Jr.
